چکیده

We present a general description of the scalar field dark matter (SFDM) hypothesis in the cosmological context. The scenario of structure formation under such a hypothesis is based on Jeans instabilities of fluctuations of the scalar field. It is shown that it is possible to form stable long lived objects consisting of a wide range of typical galactic masses around 1012M⊙ once the parameters of the effective theory are fixed with the cosmological constraints. The energy density at the origin of such an object is smooth as it should.

Formation of Large Structures in the Acceleration Universe with a Hybrid Expansion Law

In the current paper, we have studied the effect of dark energy on for-mation where dark energy exists in the background. For this purpose, we used both WMAP9 and Planck data to study how the radius changes with redshift in these mod-els. We used different data sets to fix the cosmological parameters to obtain a solution for a spherical region under collapse. The mechanism of structure formation f...

Singlet scalar dark matter in noncommutative space

In this paper, we examine the singlet scalar dark matter annihilation to becoming the Standard Model particles in the non-commutative space. In the recent decades, many candidates of dark matter have been offered,  but our information about  the nature of dark matter is still limited. There are such particle candidates as  scalar matetr, fermion, boson, gauge boson, etc.; however, they have nei...

Cosmology with a dynamically screened scalar interaction in the dark sector

Motivated in part by string theory, we consider a modification of the ΛCDM cosmological model in which the dark matter has a long-range scalar force screened by light particles. Scalar forces can have interesting effects on structure formation: the main example presented here is the expulsion of dark matter halos from low density regions, or voids, in the galaxy distribution.

Constraining TeVeS Gravity as Effective Dark Matter and Dark Energy

The phenomena customly described with the standard ΛCDM model are broadly reproduced by an extremely simple model in TeVeS, Bekenstein’s (2004) modification of General Relativity motivated by galaxy phenomenology. Our model can account for the acceleration of the universe seen in SNeIa distances without a cosmological constant, and the accelerations seen rotation curves of nearby spiral galaxie...

Supermassive black holes in scalar field galaxy halos

Ultralight scalar fields provide an interesting alternative to WIMPS as halo dark matter. In this paper we consider the effect of embedding a supermassive black hole within such a halo, and estimate the absorption probability and the accretion rate of dark matter onto the black hole. We show that the accretion rate would be small over the lifetime of a typical halo, and hence that supermassive ...
